Solo Stove Campfire is a great wood stove for families and small groups of 4 or more!

Designed with a double wall, the Solo Stove Campfire is an inverted descending gas stove with natural convection.

Air intake holes at the bottom of the stove channel air down the fire while channeling hot air between the stove walls. This explosion of preheated oxygen flowing back into the combustion chamber through the small holes at the top of the stove causes secondary combustion. This allows the fire to burn more completely, which is why there is very little smoke during complete combustion. More efficient burning also means you’ll use a lot less wood compared to an open campfire. The Solo Stove Campfire doesn’t just burn wood. It actually cooks the smoke from the wood, then burns the smoke not once, but twice!

The Solo Stove Campfire also has a heat shield between the ash pan and the bottom of the stove. This heat shield protects the floor under the stove from burns. The angled lip of the cooktop also increases efficiency by directing heat towards your pan minimizing heat loss. It also acts as a windshield while allowing oxygen to flow inward. The Solo Stove Campfire is indeed one of the most efficient wood stoves you will ever own.
